This TB stallion is an absolute RARITY amongst the Thoroughbreds - a FRAME OVERO TB! He also carries the Sabino gene.

Beautiful, correct and with wonderful movement. He has excellent jumping quality and was
successful in Hunter competitions in the USA. One of his daughters won the IHF. A son of his is standing at stud, his name is SPOT - the Painted Thoroughbred. He is solid colored but was tested and carries the frame gene also.

The full sister of this stallion is Patchy Lassy. She is the dam of famous Racey Remarque and Ellusive Quest, two full brothers located in Arizona at Colorworld Ranch owned by DVM Nancy McEachern, who is also the breeder of our youngster "Ellusive Look" a black bay and white frame overo TB colt. Racey Remarque and Ellusive Quest have both been successful on the race track. Unfortunately Patchy Lassy and her son Racey Remarque died in 2003. There are only a handful Frame Overo TBs in existence in the world today.

In 2005 Nite Spot received his PAINT papers with the APHA, so all of his foals will be eligible for double registration papers: Jockey Club papers and APHA papers. His name with the APHA is Nite Spot GF.

Nite Spot has arrived in Germany end of July 2006 and has already achieved approval with the German Paint Horse Club and the European Coloured Horse Association.

On August 30, 2008 Nite Spot died of a heart attack when being too exited due to a 31 year old Trakehner mare teasing him. We will terribly miss this old gentleman!
